Around July 9th, 2015, China Communist Party launched a crackdown, commonly referred to as the “709 Crackdown (709大抓捕)”, interrogating and detaining around 300 lawyers and rights advocates, many of whom were later convicted on charges such as “trying to overthrow subversion of state power”. Until now, many of them have not been released, such as Guo Feixiong 郭飛雄, Wang Quanzhang 王全璋, and etc. On July 8th, CDHRA members went to capitol hill to memorize China attorneys’ 709 Crackdown 10 YRS’ anniversary seminar.
China Communist Party violates human rights every year. How can we just take the memorization? We must do something to end it! So CDHRA carried a letter to some senators and congressmen, wishing America will help the God to eliminate CCP, the root of misery. Which reads:
Dear Senators and Congresspersons:
We, the Chinese Democracy & Human Rights Alliance (CDHRA, FreeOurChina.com, FDCUSA.org), strongly oppose the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for its human rights violations, including organ harvesting and property plundering.
The CCP labels us an “extremist anti-China, anti-CCP” organization. Our strong opposition to the CCP has led to death threats, forcing the Seattle Chapter Chairmen and Vice Chairman to resign. Recently, CCP supporters posted death threats against us on GanjingShijie.com, targeting our children and referencing our protest supporting Falun Gong and opposing the CCP bomb threat in Flushing, New York, in April 2025. (https://www.epochtimes.com/b5/25/4/28/n14493384.htm) However, we will not back down until the CCP is dismantled and a new China guarantees all Chinese people’s constitutional rights.
The CCP regime that seeks to rule China and spread communism globally, infiltrating democratic nations like the U.S. We strongly ask President Trump’s leadership and the increasing sanctions against the CCP. However, we are concerned about recent U.S.-China tariff reductions to 30% and mutual visit programs. We urge you to support the following:
1. Urge the Senate to pass the “Shield Against CCP Act,” passed by the House on March 10, 2025, to address CCP threats in terrorism, cybersecurity, and border security.
2. Push for Senate approval of the “Falun Gong Protection Act,” unanimously passed by the House on May 5, 2025, to sanction those involved in organ harvesting.
3. Request the U.S. government to demand China relax social media restrictions and include them in international trade agreements, as China blocks platforms like Google and Facebook, violating trade rules.
4. Ask the U.S. Immigration Service to grant asylum only to Chinese applicants who actively oppose the CCP, ensuring authenticity of persecution claims.
5. Urge the expulsion of CCP supporters from the U.S., as the CCP engages in terrorism, including organ harvesting and drug trafficking.
