The Hong Kong Parliament is a legitimate council established by freedom Hong Kong people through their own elections, unlike the illegitimate council whose elections are controlled by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Since its first inaugural meeting, the Hong Kong Parliament’s members have been persecuted and wanted by the CCP, forced into exile in Europe, Canada, Australia, and the United States. The current Speaker, Mr. Chiang Ka-wai, not only has been wanted but also has all his assets illegally frozen by the Hong Kong Communist government due to his call for Hong Kong people to boycott the CCP-controlled sham elections, which has caused him been further burdened with hardship.
In solidarity with the Hong Kong Parliament and to protest the Chinese Communist Party’s persecution of it, the Chinese Democracy & Human Rights Alliance jointly held rallies and speeches on Sunday, November 23, 2025, simultaneously in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, demanding that the CCP cease its persecution of the Hong Kong Legislative Council and its devastation of Hong Kong.
During the event, protesters played a speech by Kong Kong Parliament speaker Chiang ka-wai, and which had resonated with many people.
中國民主人權聯盟成員在美國三地同時舉辦聲援香港議會的活動
香港議會是熱愛自由的香港人自己投票發起成立的合法議會，不同於被中共控制了選舉的非法議會。香港議會自從召開了第一屆成立大會之後，其議員就被中共迫害、通緝，被迫流亡到歐洲、加拿大、澳大利亞和美國等地。現任議長姜嘉偉先生更加因為號召香港人抵制被中共控制的假選舉，已經不但被通緝，而且還被港共政府非法地凍結了所有資產，導致他生活陷入了困境之中。
為了聲援香港議會，抗議中共迫害香港議會的行為，中國民主人權聯盟在2025年11月23日星期天，聯合舉辦了集會和演說，於紐約、洛杉磯、三藩市同時舉行抗議，要求中共停止對香港議會的迫害、停止對香港的蹂躪！
在活動中，抗議者播放了香港議會議長姜嘉偉的講話，引起許多人的共鳴。
