On 3/15, 2026, NY Chinese Democracy & Human Rights Alliance (CDHRA) Members Rallied in front of the Flushing library to call for the US Senate to pass the Falun Gong Protection Act ASAP to stop the CCP’s Organ Harvest.
The “Falun Gong Protection Act” has been proposed by the US Congress at least three times to date.
In 2021, it sought sanctions against individuals involved in China’s forced organ harvesting. This bill remained only in the committee stage and did not reach a vote in the House of Representatives.
In 2023, it sought sanctions against those involved in forced organ harvesting, including visa bans and asset freezes. This bill passed the House, but was not voted on in the Senate.
In 2025, it again sought sanctions against those involved in forced organ harvesting. This bill also passed the House, but was not voted on in the Senate.
Recently, the Falun Gong Protection Act has moved forward again. On March 11, bipartisan senators Ted Cruz (Republican from Texas) and Jeff Merkley (Democratic from Oregon) jointly introduced the “Falun Gong and Victims of Forced Organ Harvesting Protection Act,” aiming to curb China’s state-sponsored crime of forced organ harvesting and protect vulnerable groups from harm. The bill aims to impose sanctions on such violations and requires the president to compile a list of foreign individuals identified as involved in such activities. This list will be updated annually or as new information becomes available.
Despite the intense political struggles currently taking place in the United States, protecting Falun Gong and stopping the CCP’s crimes of forced organ harvesting are fundamental human rights facts that should transcend partisan disputes. We strongly urge members of the U.S. Senate to set aside their differences and jointly pass this historically significant Falun Gong protection bill!

近日，法轮功保护法案再次推进。3月11日，由两党参议员，德州共和党参议员特德・克鲁兹与俄勒冈州民主党参议员杰夫・默克利共同发起，再次推出了“法轮功与活摘器官受害者保护法（Falun Gong and Victims of Forced Organ Harvesting Protection Act）”，旨在遏制中国由国家支持的活摘器官罪行，并保护弱势群体免受伤害。
该法案希望对这类侵害行为实施制裁，并要求总统编制一份被认定参与此类行径的外国个人名单。该名单将每年更新一次，或在有新信息时随时更新。
尽管目前美国的政治斗争相当激烈，但保护法轮功、制止中共活摘罪行却是基本的人权事实，应该超越两党的党争之外。我们强烈呼吁美国国会的议员们搁置争议，一起通过这项具有伟大历史意义的法轮功保护法案！
